Amaya is not only the Founder’s daughter turned lil friend, she is also a Lead Toddler Teacher at Oak Village Academy. This May, @yeathats.maya graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from North Carolina Central University 🦅 taking a huge step toward operating her own childcare center and breathing life into her dream of fusing her love for children and passion for leadership.

Beyond the classroom, Maya is a creative spirit. She can be found building LEGOs, traveling, experiencing art in all forms, practicing aerial yoga, or doing all things Isaiah, her 7-year-old Superman.

I’ve had the privilege of hearing Maya’s voice in many spaces, but her unfiltered perspective on adulting, including insight into my own missteps (maybe I should be concerned 😮‍💨) will be vulnerable for us both. I cannot wait!
