Courageous Action:
The Do It Scared Conference - 2025
In 2025, The Mettle & Moxie Collective took a powerful step forward with the inaugural Courageous Action: Do It Scared Conference. What started as a vision became a room filled with 80 attendees committed to honesty, and a willingness to be transparent through laughter, tears, and meaningful dialogue. The conference created space for the community to engage in the kinds of conversations we often avoid but desperately need.
The impact was immediate and lasting. Attendees left with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a sense of belonging that extended beyond the event itself. Courageous Action was not about perfection or performance, it was about presence and affirmed that when people feel safe enough to tell the truth, real change begins. That first conference set the tone for what The Mettle & Moxie Collective stands for: courageous conversations, intentional community, and collective growth.

Overall amazing event! Location was great! Bar was super dope. Caterer’s set up was nice as well. - Conference attendee
Giving men space to have to carry everything- stepping in when I can to relieve the burden. I will be encouraging my husband to seek out a Mental Health Coach. - Conference attendee
I loved how the female panel discussed how they have overcome imposter syndrome!! - Conference attendee
Yes! I especially enjoyed the men’s panel as we don’t get to see or hear men truly expressing themselves and to be able to hear it from various age ranges was great! - Conference attendee
Well duh!! Cause we did that! Diverse people on the panel from all industry backgrounds. Everyone was very personable, respectful and relatable. - Conference panelist
